Hi, about the Webster's Dictionary definition. Although there is a medicine called "Lithium" 1st, bc we don't know for certain that is what the song is about, If your dictionary does say that, hopefully it has more than just that one definition,..OR we're looking at different Webster's online dictionaries. When you learn a new word you want to start with the earliest meaning and use of it, even though it will have additional definitions. I'm not trying to be critical in fact I think it's it's really good to set that example and that you look up the words that you don't know yet, I'm much much older and I still have to look up words I don't know so it's a lifelong process. Understand I'm not trying to give you mean girl vibes. I apologize if this is coming off in any way less than sincere. Iit's really, really important to read all of the different forms of the word. That way, you know where some medicines might get or botrow their name. Lithium metal, lithium batteries, lithium medications, and so on. I honestly don't know enough about pharmacology to tell you if there's lithium metal in lithium medication. I just want young people to read all of the definitions, so that people aren't confused when somebody talks to them about lithium batteries, or lithium metal. This is sincere constructive criticism. Just make a good habit of reading all of the definitions. Because we don't really know that Kurt Cobain was writing or seeing about the medication. Possibly? Yes. But from different angles, It could just be pertaining to something strong like a metal, or something light as in weighty, the lightest weighted metal aka the element aspect. (the lightest metal known.) We don't want to oversell the idea that Kurt was singing about lithium medication. Because we don't know. Good luck with your show I hope you do real well.
